ConnectS was developed out of a need to make our Welcome Service visit information more accessible to our members/sponsors in a more timely manner. We weren’t satisfied with creating and emailing out a spreadsheet every month or quarter. Sharing that information with our members/sponsors in that time frame was not quick enough. We tried sending individual emails to speed up the process but that was just too much manual labor. Instead, we created ConnectS, a software that allows us to input our members/sponsors information, create a visit record with information and the software automatically sends out an email notification in a timely manner to our members/sponsors - which allows them to log in to the software to see the visit record information.
